Our Story
Founded in 2018 by Terry and Nyasha Madavo, Tenya Foundation is a Not-for-Profit Company registered under the Department of Social Development. We are driven by a deep commitment to uplifting underprivileged individuals and communities in South Africa and the Southern Africa region. Inspired by values of family, responsibility, and purpose, our journey began many years ago with community-based work and initiatives in Lehae, Gauteng, in partnership with the Mwala Foundation. Today, our mission remains rooted in the belief that collective action can make the world a better place, one person at a time.
